Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BLACKBYTE ("we", "us")
handles information in connection with the mobile game
Piñatopia (package com.blackbyte.pinatopia,
the "Game"). By playing the Game you agree to the practices described here.
The short version
- The Game has no accounts and no login — we never ask for your name, email, or password.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device.
- We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Game is played, and third‑party advertising to keep the Game free.
- These services may use your device's advertising identifier and technical device data.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to provide any personal information. The Game and the third‑party services it uses may automatically collect:
- Usage & analytics data — in‑game events (e.g. level progress, sessions), app version, device model, operating system, language, and coarse region derived from your IP address. Collected via Google Analytics for Firebase.
- Advertising data — your device Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and technical device/ad‑interaction data, used to serve and measure ads. Provided to our advertising partners (see below).
- Purchase data — if you buy in‑app items, the transaction is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase confirmation and token; we never receive your payment card details.
- On‑device game data — your progress, settings, and purchases ledger are saved locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, photos, or any special‑category data.
How we use it
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Game and its balance.
- To measure performance and diagnose problems.
- To display advertising (including rewarded ads) and keep the Game free to play.
Third‑party services
The Game relies on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase / Analytics — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy
- ironSource / Unity LevelPlay (ad mediation) — unity.com privacy policy
- Google Play Billing — policies.google.com/privacy
Advertising ID & personalized ads
Advertising partners may use your device Advertising ID to show more relevant ads and to limit repetition. You can reset or delete this identifier, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Where required by law, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads.
Children
Piñatopia is not directed to children under 13 (and is not a "Designed for Families" title). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will address it.
Data retention
Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers according to their policies. On‑device game data lives on your device until you clear the Game's data or uninstall it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold no account and store no directly identifying information, most requests are handled at the third‑party‑provider level or by resetting your Advertising ID. You can also contact us using the details below.
International transfers
Our providers may process data on servers outside your country. They rely on recognised safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) where required.
Security
We rely on the security measures of Google and Unity for the data they process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
